Course Content

This course is intended to teach students the basics of photography-related matters. Every day ensues with basic issues that are built with a combination of theory and practice to ensure that the student gains both knowledge as well as practical skill. Here’s what you’ll learn over the period of the course

01.

Introduction to Photography

Start from the most basic by understanding what photography really is and all the styles one can use. Understand the various types of photography, such as portrait, landscape, street photography and many more. We are going to be able to converse regarding the basics that compose a great photograph, such as composition, light, and focus.

02.

How to Take a Good Picture

What makes a good picture? Exploring those elements in even greater detail-what truly makes for a good picture. That involves framing, perspective, light, and all that follows. Learn how to make some sense out of using different subjects or images: people, nature, and objects and how natural and artificial sources interact, since most photographers do at least some shootings with these two sets of light.

03.

Basic Camera Settings and Modes

This is the part where you get intimate with your camera. The class would cover ISO, aperture, shutter speed. Also, it is at this point that you learn how to use your modes: Manual, Aperture Priority, and Shutter Priority, and when to set auto focus and some manual focus. It is in this part that you learn about all sorts of lenses and what they’re used for.

04.

Practice

The last day is all practice. You have knowledge in your brains from the previous days that you are going to use in an outdoor setting. In this session, you practice the knowledge in a real world. It’s going to be fun; you are experimenting in different lighting conditions and settings for a camera. One-on-one mentorship is assured, and hence you get direct personal guidance and feedback during the session.
